"In the late summer of 2020, my wife and I made a decision to begin looking into the possibility of purchasing an "up north" lake cabin as a getaway location for ourselves, as well as for our children and grandchildren. We all live in Central Minnesota. We began the process with a web search, and followed up on a listing we saw posted by Larson Group Real Estate. Upon making a call to Larson Group, the agent linked to the posting was not available and we were asked if we would like to speak with another agent present in the office, Matt Stephens. As that seemed fine to us, we spent the next fifteen minutes or so getting acquainted with Matt and answering some questions for him that allowed him to get a beginning of an understanding of what we thought we were looking for in a lake cabin property. Thus began a nine-month journey involving reviews of many properties with Matt that ended with wonderful lake property and cabin on Tenmile Lake. This journey was long and had its challenges, and my wife and I are so grateful that we got to have Matt available to lead us. His friendliness and genuine interest in what we wanted out of this trip were apparent during that first phone call, as well as in each additional step along the way.
